Celebration of Lights
Rotary Park lights the night sky with holiday spirit each winter with the annual Celebration of Lights. This multi-mile drive-through light show features over 400 unique displays and only gets bigger and brighter every year! Conveniently located off Interstate 39, the event attracts more than 20,000 cars per year, making La Salle one of the best winter destinations in the area. November 2025 through January 1, 2026
The Celebration of Lights is set to return this year on November 9, 2025. The display will run from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. until New Year’s Day
Drive through Rotary Park
The Celebration of Lights transforms Rotary Park into a festive wonderland each year. Visitors can drive through the park to take in the illuminated displays from the warmth and comfort of their cars, complete with a Christmas radio station.
Largest Display in North Central Illinois
With over 400 unique and original displays, the Celebration of Lights at Rotary Park is one of the biggest and brightest Christmas light celebrations in North Central Illinois.
Community-Driven
All Celebration of Lights displays are sponsored by local businesses, and volunteers work the gates, handing out candy canes and dog treats to visitors all night.
Supported by Donations
The display is fully funded by donations made by visitors that pass under its illuminated gates. We are thankful to all of our visitors who donate which allow us to continue offering the display in the years to come.
