TIF Districts
The City of La Salle has designated eight Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Districts in which property and sales tax revenues are used to spur economic development.
Enterprise Zone
The Upper Illinois River Valley Development Authority has established several Enterprise Zones within the City of La Salle, which provide tax incentives that encourage businesses to develop within a set region.
C-PACE Financing
C-PACE financing can be used by owners and developers to finance or refinance eligible improvements affixed to any privately-owned commercial, industrial, non-residential agricultural, or multi-family (of 5 or more units) property or any property owned by a not-for-profit in connection with renovations of existing buildings and new construction, in each case up to 25% of the value of the property. Eligible improvements generally include fixtures, products, systems, equipment, devices, and materials intended for energy efficiency, renewable energy, resiliency, or water use; electric vehicle charging stations are eligible improvements too.
Redevelopment Incentive Program
The City of La Salle Redevelopment Incentive Program (RIP) provides businesses with financial assistance to renovate or rehabilitate commercial or business-related properties.
Advantage Illinois
Illinois has developed two different programs under Advantage Illinois to offset the risks involved in lending to businesses. La Salle State Bank and Eureka Savings Bank participate in this program.
EDGE Tax Credit
Illinois’ EDGE program provides annual corporate tax credits to qualifying businesses which support job creation and capital investment and improve the standard of living for all Illinois residents.
